Dr. Kim’s research focuses on developing computational frameworks to investigate brain–behavior relationships in relation to both brain function and structure using neuroimaging data. His work centers on designing computer-based detection and diagnostic algorithms capable of assessing the brain’s status through measures of connectivity and network organization. By integrating emerging methods from neuroimaging and network science, he aims to construct macro-scale models that bridge local brain connectivity with global network organization, enabling the identification of function-, behavior-, and disease-specific brain alterations.
