Evan Cheng a rising senior at Bloomington High School North. He is interested in the work of CNL because he wants to deepen his understanding of how contact sports affect cognitive functions. In addition to this, the methodology that Kawata utilizes to study the brain he finds extremely intriguing, ranging from blood tests to MRI scans. Evan is fascinated by how the brain responds to physical impacts and eager to explore this topic further.He competes in track and field, with a focus on the long jump. Outside of athletics and research, he loves traveling across the country to explore national parks and experience the beauty of natural landscapes.
