Summary

Michael Pham is a Cox Research Scholar at Indiana University Bloomington working in Kei’s lab. He joined the lab out of his interest in subconcussive head impacts and his desire to continue advancing the research field. Michael helps assist in data collection for the Omega study, which includes administering mental health and cognitive questionnaires, setting up EKGs, and processing blood collections. He hopes that the research we do is able to allow sports in the future to take precautions to make sports safer for all. He has aspirations to go to medical school and become a physician. In doing so he wants to help people remove obstacles in their lives. Outside of the lab, Michael enjoys staying active through hiking and playing recreational sports. He is also always trying to learn new things. Recently he has tried to read different books and learn to cook new recipes..
