Summary

Gage Ellis is a dual Ph.D. student in Human Performance and Neuroscience at Indiana University, where he investigates the effects of repetitive head impacts using a multidisciplinary approach that includes neuroimaging, proteomics, metabolomics, eye-tracking, cognitive assessments, and physiological testing. His research focuses on athletes with and without attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

Previously, Gage earned his M.S. at Auburn University, where he studied motor learning and performance in the Performance and Exercise Psychophysiology Laboratory. There, he used electroencephalography (EEG) to examine changes in brain activation during motor tasks.

At Indiana University, Gage also served as the coordinator of the IU Adaptive Physical Activity (IUAPA) Program. He is currently a recipient of the Institutional National Research Service Award (T32) through the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), where his research centers on the effects of ADHD medication use.
